This hotel has so much potential but unfortunately, it's simply just disgusting. Someone tried to open our door at about 12am and then it sounded like they were walking around outside our room for hours (maybe the room next door) as the floorboards were extremely creaky! Even walking up to the room I noticed it didn't look like the carpets throughout the hotel had been cleaned in a very long time. Dust had collected everywhere and looked like it hadn't been cleaned since the place opened, the windows you could barely see out of through the dirt. A stuffed animal toy that held the curtains together which was covered in a disgusting, sticky substance which I dread to think what it could have been. There were stains all over the carpet of the room. It has burns and scratches all over the bathtub, no shower curtain, the taps when turned on let out a foul smell. We went to look at the room and the bathroom was horrid.
The receptionist explained he could give us an en-suite room for the same price we originally paid as the TV was broken - which was fine by us. On arrival, we asked if we could pay for an upgrade as we didn't realise it was shared bathrooms when booking.
